Jessica Shaddock
Associate Attorney

Jessica has a passion for helping others. During law school, Jessica had the incredible opportunity to teach English to refugees in the country of Malta. During this time, Jessica witnessed their determination to better their lives by learning another language, strengthening her resolve to meet her life’s goal of assisting others in a time of need.

Jessica began her legal career in 2010 practicing in various civil litigation areas throughout North Carolina in both State and Federal courts. Now focusing solely on family law matters, she has found her calling and knows that she is helping her clients in a true time of need. Jessica is passionate about her clients and believes in a holistic approach centered around getting to know each of her clients on a personal level to tailor a specific and practical plan according to each client’s individual needs.

For most clients, they are dealing with one of the most stressful times in their lives. Jessica’s foremost goal is to make the legal aspect of their journey go as smoothly as possible and to ease as many tensions as possible for each client going forward.

When Jessica isn’t at the office, you can find her spoiling her two silly dogs, Polly and June. Jessica also loves to travel the World, and when time permits, she’s usually planning a trip to a new destination she has yet to explore. So far, she has been to four out of the seven continents and plans to add a fifth to her list this coming summer.
